had the Carbon Flash stinger removed and installed the new Jake CF Metallic Two Tone stinger.. had pro's do it and they used heat guns to remove the old one.. NP...

Can you help me out one more time...I am having a hard time taking the clips out of the hood vent grill. I bought a tool to remove the white clips however the clips keep cracking any ideas or tips to remove the clips would be apprichiated!

Didn't need to remove the hood vent to remove or install the stinger.. have a plastic tool that was used to push the new one down into the hood vent..
Are you trying to remove the vent in order to install new one?

Yes the vent...I broke one of the fastners...went to a body shop and was trying to remove the fasteners from the side rather than the top where the tabs are. Will try again this morning.

I got it on e-bay from a company in AZ...they do decals for muscle cars as well...GTO...chevelles...cuda's...mustan gs etc. Go to e-bay search C7 Z06 B92 Stinger. I have the decal but have not installed. The CF matches the GM Sage III Carbon Fiber perfectly. Will post pictures once installed.

Here are a couple pics of the Phoenix Graphix vinyl stinger with carbon fiber pattern on it that I installed on my car:
I just reviewed the post before hitting "Submit Reply" and there's a swirly looking pattern on the stinger. I think the forum down-sized the pictures slightly and the swirls are a result of that. If you can make the post or pictures a little larger you'll see the carbon fiber pattern as it really is - which is really nice!!

Is the pinstripe along the sides and around the vent part of the same item as the stinger? Is that carbon fiber pattern also? Thanks for the pictures.
