Signed Z06 Engine

I was under the impression that all Z06 engines are signed by the person building it. I just picked up my 2016 Z06 Coupe and can't see where the supposed plaque is located.

Only ZO7 optioned cars get the hand built (signed) engines.

The engines in the Z07 are not really anymore "hand built" than the other Z06 engines. The biggest difference is engines in the Z07 are built by 1 technician and get a tag with the tech's name engraved. Non-Z07 engines are built by several people in a more traditional assembly line and get no such plaque.

The tag is a nice touch. But the engine is not measurably better or more valuable. With the number of Z06 and Z07 being built it will be an eternity before they ever amount to being "collectible".
