working on a 16 a customer brought by and its like the car has a bump coming to a stop and sometimes feels like someone is tapping you from behind. I also noticed a bump upon startup when he dropped the car off. Is there a tsb i can shoot to him before he goes to the dealership im seeing if maybe gm has a new tune for the trans.

I had my A8 trans re flashed. Was better for a short period. I believe it had learned to behave to my aggressive driving habits.

Mine did that when I first got mine but kind of fixed itself over time..... I dunno.

Mine does it to. I was told to drive it and it will learn my driving habits and adjust to them.

There is a TSB on the A8, I don't recall the #.

My 2015 Z06 A8 would bang into 1st from 2nd when I was slowing down. When I came to a fast stop and the car realized it was stopped I would feel the bump into 1st even though I was stopped
I had the dealer do the TSB for the trans 2k miles ago and its been perfect.

My 2015 Zo6 A8 did the same .
Check the rear differential , it was 15 oz light of the required fluid amt.
from the factory .

When the proper amount of fluid was filled no more bump.

If you do a Google search for "Bulletin No.: 14-07-30-001A" it will call up a service bulletin that discusses the problem and how to correct it.
