Hi i am new to the site and i was wondering who has both? I want to either get a manual z06 or a manual challenger hellcat. It will be my daily for 5 months out of the year. Its about 50/50 for city and highway driving. I dont go to the track and most of my races are straight. Not to many backroads around my area but there are some. What would you guys prefer?
Since you just joined I smell a not so sincere question!! And if you really have to ask then you should definitely get a Hellcat! Btw, I am having a hard time deciding if I should open can of Tuna for dinner tonight or go to my favorite Sushi restaurant and order a Toro Tuna Belly Sashimi???

Do what I did and buy 2 Hellcats and the Z51. Save the 30k plus on the Z51 over the Z06 and put it towards another toy(s)'

I would buy the Z06. Personally I think the Hellcat looks pretty decent on the outside but something about the interior bothers me. It looks ugly to me. I can never buy a car where I don't enjoy the interior.

Why two hellcats and a Z51? The Z06 is the choice far and away over the Z51. Z06 and hellcat would be a better combo.
Plus less outlay!
Do you need 2 seats or 4? Do you like twisty roads more than highways? If you take your wife/ girl friend/other somewhere which one would make you feel more proud when opening the door for that other person? Do you like more in your face (Corvette) or looks fast but maybe isn't (Dodge)? Do you get a lot of tickets (the Corvette will draw more attention)? Do you like electronic gadgets, the Corvette has much more than the Dodge? Do you like to accelerate from stop lights(I think the Dodge is better here)? Is money a factor (The Corvette will probably cost at least 20 grand more)?

God I am slightly jealous of you guys! I just joined the club here with a modest new to me c4 purchase. Ya'll are reminding me just how modest it is lol

To each his own. I have owned 3 previous Z06's. Personally for me not excited on the Z06. The Z51 is a great all around performance vehicle. And yeah it ain't saving money having 3 cars versus 2 cars. Nor having 10 cars versus 1-2 So yeah I get it. But for the real question asked by the newbie it has gone silly. The Challenger Hellcat will never get the attention like the Z06. The Z06 I would not consider a 5 month a year daily driver personally. The Hellcat certainly could be a everyday all year driver. So if it's me buy the Hellcat and save $30k and apply it to a nice used Z51. But hey it ain't my money and it ain't easy in this world making money. And not wanting to come across on the forum as a snobby son of a gun. I am a car nut MOPAR Chevy guy my entire life.
