So I just picked up my Vette after 2 weeks of storage and when I got in I noticed the front left tire was at 11 psi and the remaining tires were at their normal 34 psi.
I drove to the local gas station and filled up the tire and for the 30 minutes I drove it, the tire did not seem to lose any pressure.
I am assuming there's a pin hole in it, can you patch a run flat tire?

Yes, go online and buy the Blackjack tire repair kit and get yourself a good quality 12 volt compressor and you will save yourself the cost of repair the first time you have a flat on the road. I have used the Blackjack kits for years and patched everything from race tires to run flats.
One of mine had to be patched (front tire) at probably 500 miles or so (nail). 3500 miles later and I've had no further problems. Just be sure to use a very reputable shop who knows how to deal with these.

I plugged mine 200 miles and two weeks ago. No problem.
I would not do it. My car is considerably more powerful than stock. Coupled with the fact that it is specifically prohibited by the manufacturer not going to be putting my life and car in danger because I am too cheap to buy a tire.
Nothing like a catastrophic carcass failure at 100mph or more lol...
I had Goodyear runcraps on my first Vette, a non Z06. Goodyear used a plug patch to repair a flat on that car. I had no further problems with that tire. However, I am not a track guy, so I stay at pretty moderate speeds.

I don't plan on driving 100 miles an hour. I live in the country and have been plugging car tires, truck tires, tractor tires, and Corvette tires for years. Never any problems. When you live miles from a tire shop you do what you have do.

So have I... Fun to plug tractor tires that are liquid filled lol!!
I had run flats on my 2014 Grand Cherokee SRT and 2 tires got nails and I had them both patched. I went to Goodyear first and some young punk tried to tell me I needed to buy 4 new tires because you can't patch them and you can't just put 2 tires on it because it is all wheel drive and the tread wear has to match up. I went to NTB and the guy said the Goodyear guy was full of **** and he has patched many of the run flat tires. I think the Goodyear guy was just trying to sell me 4 tires.

well 99% of people aren't doing 100 or more on a regular basis....thats like people saying only buy Michelin Pilots because they are so awesome and handle so great on a 1G turn....because we drive like that every single day so thats important........most owners are not out there driving like they stole it every day and the ones I see doing that are usually driving like a total D-bag making the rest of us look bad.
that being said....if you are one of those who drive over 100 every day because you just can in a safe and responsible manner then by all means buy a new tire
Pewter99 I am involved in the design and development side of tires albeit aircraft and deal with manufacturers and our own engineers often. It is not that simple. There is unfortunately the liability issue. That is why on the P Zero tires Discount for example will not repair them. If you were to repair one and had an accident related to the tire experiencing a catastrophic failure and an investigation revealed that the tire had been repaired not in accordance with the manufacturers you may have some problems.
