Default Finally!!!!!

After having our new Z06 sit in the garage for nearly 2 months I was finally able to drive it yesterday. The ACS side skirts and mud guards were a breeze to install. The car is truly amazing! I wasn't sure about the A8, but it's nice to be able to drive and not have to shift. The handling is unbelievable and it's quiet compared to my highly modded C5 that I sold. I can even listen to the radio when I drive. I never drove my C5 in the rain or washed it in the 15 years that I owned it, but I'm going to enjoy the Z06. I'm not going to touch it, and I'm leaving the windshield wipers on it.

Mine was delivered to our home in January by the dealership in an enclosed trailer. I didn't want to drive it with all the salt they put on the roads here. We've had quite a bit of rain to wash the salt off the roads, but I still didn't want to drive it until I got the side skirts and mud guards installed.

Congrats...but get out there. Yesterday I had the top down in Chicago burbs. I got mine a little over 4 weeks ago and I've got close to 800 miles on it. ACS mud flaps and side skirts going on this weekend...E. N. J. O. Y.

How do you like the ACS mug guards and side skirts? Hopefully, they'll work well. I can't believe how soft the tires are. The amount of small pebbles that stick to them is unbelievable.

Default Get your cars wrapped!!!

A word to the wise. Get your cars wrapped before driving too much. The car sits low and the chips occur quickly. Well worth the investment. Less worries about road grime. Enjoy

Just curious . . . are the folks with wider mud guards and side skirts still experiencing stone chips by the rear brake ducts?
