Default Rubber pick up on track tires

For those who track their car, the tires pick up rubber from other tires (slicks). What is your opinion; should that rubber be scraped off or left on the tires. I run cups?

It'll come off the tires.
Nothing to worry about.

I found that it all lets go at about 105mph.

I thought there was something wrong with the car and pulled into the pits.

It sounded like I was being hit by bullets.

Only the fuel class car crews bother to scrape these off at the star line!
Better traction of course.
