Default Changing red interior

How easy would it be to change a red accented interior to all black? Money aside, is it an easy thing to do? This car is almost exactly what I am looking for except the interior.

I'm wondering too if just changing the seats to black would help.

Changing the seats isn't too difficult. I converted my GT's to Competition but that didn't require changing the lower seat covers.

Maybe if you went with black seats and changed the center console cover to black you'd have more of a two tone look.

That is what I would do. Go with the 2016 2 tone seat covers. Send subchev (Forum Vendor) a message and they will quote you pricing...

I bet you wouldn't have a problem leaving it as is after you owned it for a couple weeks.

I have a 2016 Z06 with black seats and I'm wanting red seats. What do you think about swapping ? Where you live I'm in WV. Southern part near Charleston.

Unless you can workout a swap, I don't think getting the "wrong" interior color would be a cost effective thing.

Too much red? This was before I added red to the steering wheel (see my avatar).

But in your case I think it'd be simple to pull the covers and have an upholstery shop sew in matching black leather on the seating/back surfaces to give you two-tone.

But it'd be a lot easier to just learn to love all the red!

In my case I'd had 3-4 with a full black interior, just couldn't do it again, and no two-tone in 2015.

Here's a quick one, not the best quality, but it gives you the idea. Red overload, but I don't mind it, and I'm not even a red guy... I'm a blue interior guy! Like all iPhone photos, it'll have 1 in 4 shot of being upright. But that's the forum software's fault, hopefully vBulletin fixes it one day...

New seat covers are cheaper than upholstery shop.

I will swap you my red seats for your black seats, if your seats are from a 2LZ package!
