C7 ABS bleed procedure
I am assuming it is the same as the C6 ABS bleed procedure but need to verify.
Thanks
Butt...that's the order that I bleed in.
The actual order in the Service Manual is on diagonals, but that really only matters if you're bleeding with a Tech 2 - or what ever you need on the C7.
The normal bleed will not bleed the ABS circuits. You can't open the ABS circuits without a Tech 2 (or newer version) that will open the ABS valves and activate the ABS pump.
Or can you?!?!

You can always do the redneck procedure!! Take a look at this StopTech procedure in the White Paper tech bulletin below:
http://www.stoptech.com/technical-su...-brake-systems
In there you can read about the dealership procedure, and you can also see the other procedure that Billy-Bob uses after he bleeds the main system:
But then you need to come back to your shop and bleed the system again to clean out the old fluid that flushed out of the ABS circuits into the main system.

I'm glad to hear that they have changed the brake bleed order. For the last several generations it has been on a diagonal - Right Rear, Left Front, Left Rear, Right Front. All my C5 and C6 Service Manuals have said to bleed in that order.
I've always done the RR, LR, RF, LF on my Vettes because I never had a Tech 2, and I think that's why the SM procedure was like that - I imagine the Tech 2 procedure did it in that order.
However, the C7 apparently is just the same as earlier generations as far as the ABS bleeding procedure - it can't be done in the shop unless you have a Tech 2, or what ever that tool has been replaced with. After doing some research, forum member Theta has a post that answered the question:
The Innova 3160 may work, but remember that the C7 began the Global Platform Initiative which phased out the Tech2 and those basic commands. Therefore, other tools based on this may not function properly for the C7.
And here's an excerpt from what looks like the same online "Service Information" that you put up - it's a page discussing the automated procedure using the Chevy

Bottom line - you are not going to open the valves to the ABS circuits and operate the ABS pump in your shop to flush the ABS system without a tool similar to what the Chevy dealership uses.
