Pricing difference aside, the 570S all day. Every day. A worthy entry exotic/sports car. It's not always about 650+650. The 570S I test drove is spades above the Z06 overall. That's my recommendation if $ isn't a determining factor.

DD (park pretty much anywhere reasonable, still looks bad ***, and can kick ***) or once a while usage? Since $ is a non factor, usage would dictate which one to get.

on paper perhaps but in real life you probably wouldn't be (unless you are a pro driver)...and since you won't track it then that's a moot point, thus the 570S is your choice

if the op can afford a $200k car, go with the exotic. but why take a turbo macca when same $ can get you a used n/a Ferrari 458. that is where I would go esp with new 488 arriving in dealerships there will be lots 458s for sale. its the last of the breed with a 9k redline

FWIW, Autotrader currently shows 346 458s for sale.

You guys are almost convincing me. I love my Callaway, but that 570GT is awesome and I recently got an invite from a Beverly Hills dealership to go test drive the S. Said they would give me a good deal on my Callaway and fly me to London to design my GT. it's kind of hard to resist.

Damned first world problems!

The price difference is so huge; if you want bang for the buck, get the Z06; however, if you value exclusivity over price, get the McLaren. Performance wise, you can't go wrong with either car.

Well whoever was driving that 650S didn't know what they were doing cause they would have taken you with no problem at all!!! 650's are very fast! They trap between 135-140

Laugh it up. I told it straight. There were two of them, I raced each twice. I won three of the four races. They did run more MPH but I beat them to the line.

But how? They are all Automatics with DCT. Couldn't be easier to run a fast time. Not only that they are under rated at 570hp... Dynos have shows then make more in stock form and I think they are like 400lbs lighter than a C7Z. You have to admit a manual Z06 beating it makes little sense. Not calling you a liar just saying a reasonable person would see how that is hard to believe.

Who said I was stock? I've got a pulley, tune, and Halltech CKNZ, and dyno'd 650 SAE RWHP, 690 SAE RWTQ, and am on drag radials.
