A little expensive but much better in my opinion then GM's joke for a splash guard or ACS guards. I first installed GM's and they added somewhere between minimal protection to none at all. In the first 300 miles I already had 2 very small chips.
So next I spent the big bucks ( in the flap world) and ordered Apsis guards.

They really were a less then 30 minute install and had an option so you could order them already notched for skirts.

I'm not crazy about the look of any guards but like paint chips even less so even though they are the biggest my personal choice is APSIS.

I agree they don't look the best but if they keep the stones away they are worth every penny. I have the side skirts and the GM guards and so far I haven't got any marks. I have around 2800 miles on mine.

Thanks for taking the plunge on this. I have been spending way too much time trying to find a splash guard. I've already given up on looks, I just want it to be functional! The Apsis seem to be the only ones that work. The GMs are pointless and with the ACS there is no way I'm filing my side skirts either! Did you go front only or front and back? Did you consider the carbon fiber vinyl wrap stainless steel versions? Those seem to be the only other alternatve. They look like pick-up truck mud flaps but they also sure look like they'll do the job.

Also, could you let us know which vendor you went with and how you specified getting the notched version? Was it just a metter of checking a box?

Ton's of questions I know, but I'm going around in circles on this....

I ordered direct from Apsis and it ask on the order form if I had skirts.
I left the GM in the rear because I really don't believe there will be a lot that any guards will do back there.
These seem to be the least noticeable of anything that I've seen that will do the job.

Also, if I understand correctly the splash guards are attached by two screws and go directly over the existing plastic in the wheel well. Do you think two screws are enough to hold the guard in place long term given all the punishment its going to receive?

By the way on my 14 Z51 the mirrors seemed to be a target so I plan on putting EXPEL on them and the front of the rear quarters and rear brake vents. My 10 and 12 Grand Sports didn't seem to take the betting these c7 Z06's are.

Yes, the bottom one is the factory 7mm that holds the existing, as GM calls them, moulding said in place. The top screw is self tapping and screws into the Same moulding very easily. They are very secure when in place

I've got Apsis on all 4 corners. I'm very happy with the protection along with my Suntek film.

For me?

Apsis on the 4 corners + factory rockers + Xpel = adequate protection from sticky Michelins.

Guys, let's calm down here on the accusations.

Since there is another thread about the other Vendor and product in question, I've update this thread to focus specifically on the install of Apsis splash guards.

I have removed posts in order to keep this thread on topic.

That depends on how you want them finished. I went with the matte black to match the GM pieces. Call Jersey at Apsis and talk to him, which task, by the way, is interesting.

Not cheap pieces, but nicely made and they serve a purpose.

Have Apsis on all four corners and side sills. The rears just to keep the look consistent. So far so good. Good product and securely mounted to the car although I have yet to try a automatic car wash.

Is it possible to use some 3M tape for more security, or to iliminate the second screw?

I installed the Apsis guards, I really dislike the looks of the self tapping screw!!
