Default Halltech install issue

Just installed my Halltech and having problems with the hood closing properly. I emailed and called Jim today with no response. He did respond to an email I sent him yesterday and mentioned the lower radiator hose and a way to get 1/4" more clearance. Can someone point me to the video(s) that will show me exactly what he is referring to. I don't want to close the hood and use the car.

Sounds like the box is not sitting flush. The hose you put the gold foil on is the one you twist to get a tiny bit more room.

Loosen the two bolts to the inner fender, push the air filter box down as far as you can. While holding it down under pressure tighten the two bolts. If it is not all the way down, it will run the hood and cause interference.

Yep your not fully in place yet. Can be a little tight but it will go fine.

post a pic of your coolant line routing. if you routed it over the box the hood will not close. you need to route it under the hood scoop but over the intake tube (in front of the airbox) or just under the airbox. also the headlight wiring harness could be in the way.
