Default Center console armrest
My right elbow has made permanent indents in the arm rest. Has this happened to anyone else? Is this a warranty item?

Yes and no, as considered a wear item I believe, but doesn't hurt to ask your dealer

Definitely not past one year, but if it happened in the first year, you might get it under the "adjustments" warranty if the dealer is in a good mood.

Yes, leather looks wavy with the air pocket underneath of it from elbow compressing the thin foam layer that did not recoil to previous shape. Same thing in my Silverado. Same thing with my cheap sofa cushion.

If you don't have any luck getting that warrantied with your dealer and want a new armrest, we can get you a replacement one or an upgrade if you're interested

Mine did that and I got a Suede onc from subchev above....IT should have been here today, but UPS sucks as usual and makes excuses why it "might" come tomorrow. I wish I could type how I really hate UPS, but the feds would show up at my door.

So, I parked it in the sun and sure enough, after an hour or two, the car was gone.

When I was working my way thru college as a kid, I worked delivery for them during the Holidays.
I hated it...they pushed so hard it felt like I was working for *****.


After my stint was over, they asked me if I wanted to work for them full-time.
I told them to shove it.
They were very surprised...apparently, it wasn't a response they were used to.
