Sorry if this is a dumb question but I tried a search and didn't find anything. Does the PDR record sound? I've used it twice but there isn't any sound when I play it back on my computer.

Thanks, maybe I missed a setting. Cool video, where and what kind of event were you in?
BEZ06 was right, that was the 2016 Nevada Open Road Challenge run on 15 May, 2016. It uses the same course as the Silver State Classic which is run in mid September.
If you are watching the playback on a mac and it is using quicktime there will be no sound. Right click on the file and open it with iPhoto and it will have sound
It sounded like at the launch you were in an M7. I'm just wondering why you never got into 7th!?!?
I assume 7th was probably too much overdrive - maybe didn't keep the speed quite as steady as 6th, is that right?
.
It is an M7. Never went into 7th because there is virtually no engine braking at the low speeds I was running and yes, it IS easier to keep the speed steady in 6th. There was a 40 mph tail wind that day.
If you have never done it, bring your logbook or you will be put in the slowest class and you will have to go to 'dumb class' to be sure you can find the gas and brake. The logbook will allow you to enter one of the faster classes because, let's face it, being limited to 110 on that road isn't fun.
