I was driving to a meeting in the Brickell area of Miami (financial district) and there is so much construction going on that the traffic was at a standstill. Suddenly, it looked like it was snowing. I couldn't see where the white spray was coming from, but when I got into the parking garage the WHOLE car was sprayed with a white chalky substance. Luckily, there was some car wash guys in the building and they were able to wash everything off. Whew!!!
Sorry for the crappy pictures, but I was (a) very pissed off and (b) very late for a meeting.
I walked outside once and they were using a concrete saw on the sidewalk infront of my old house. It was a solid foot or two from my car.
Absolutely blasted it with concrete dust. I was home the whole time they were working, didn't realize what they were doing until I happened to walk by. I was super unhappy. Fortunately, I was able to spray the dust off without any damage.
God you lucked out. My wife was driving our Denali when it was sprayed with white road striping paint by highway workers. It was tough to get the state to pay for a complete buff job.

I got striping paint on my '70 SS Nova years ago and never did get it off of the rocker panels.
