After owning my Z06 for a little over one year, I enjoy the car, it is overall well built and fun to drive.
What I have experienced is the following.
1. Recently a rattle , coming from the roof (which I have never taken off). Admittedly, I have not taken the car in to have it checked.
2. The most annoying and probably having nothing to do with the quality of the car, are tire leaks. I believe and warn others that if you change tires, as I did changing from Cup 2's to Super Sports at a Discount Tire store, that these stores are ill equipped to handle the job. They did not have the proper (apparently sufficiently) pressurized system to seat the tires and huffed and puffed and still could not do it. Finally we took the wheels to a specialty shop and got the job done.
I now suspect I have a couple of bad rims. Best

1. There is a TSB for replacement of roof latches with an updated latch design to fix that, and is a warranty item, I believe.
2. Not sure there. You should have your wheels checked out. I've seen a couple on here that had hairline cracks and resultant slow air leaks. Maybe the tire crew cracked the rims struggling with them - or you could have them just from driving (as those who posted got the cracks that way). Definitely something to check into. All of which is assuming you don't have any actual tire leaks.
TSB on the roof panel. Talk to your dealer. I had it done but frankly it's not a great fix. I still have creaking.
Regarding the tires, I had that some problem with the leaking. It turns out I had a small screw in the middle of the tread. The dealer patched it up from the inside and that fixed the problem.

Not many dealers, or for that matter, tire shops, are capable of mounting tires on the Z's. Can't get them to seat properly, and worse yet, F***up the rims when trying to do so. Had two replaced on mine, took over four hours and the dealer finally ended up taking them to a specialty speed shop..
They sell the Z's but they can't service them, tires that is..

You're close enough to Vegas so I will tell you if you want to take a road trip, Findlay Chevrolet has the techs and equipment to turn these tires around quickly without the complaints most tires shops have. I learned this with my last tire mount. It is hard to find a shop with techs that can handle this rubber.

Wonder if the wife would mind if I was to say.. "heading out to get the tires changed, I'll be home when they get them done".. and make it a three day road trip..

My PSSs were replaced a month ago. They had 15k miles on them and I still didn't hit the wear bar but I could feel a difference in grip with the rubber. I got $2400 quoted all in and the dealer was none to quick to tell me that he would never guarantee that price again. Apparently it was a 5 hour job with 3 guys on each tire at one point to seat it...just to ensure no damage to the rim. They did a great job.

You could also just spin the wheels on a balancer without removing the tires. Just make sure you check the outside lip as well as the inner barrels. You can easily see if they are bent or out of round. If they are out of round, sometimes a Hunter Road Force balancer can help minimize the vibration etc when driving, before going out a buying new wheels or having those repaired.
Make sure your roof is rattling Vs something else. The Vette mechanic at the dealership and I though the roof was rattling on my car. When he got the TSB parts in and started to do the job he found the parts were already installed in my June 2015 built Z. After doing further searching and road testing he found the noise was coming from the right side fixed window area. He was able to reduce the noise somewhat by isolating the interior quarter panel that surrounds the window but it still scritches on certain bumps. Sitting in the driver's seat the sound sounds like it is coming from the right rear of the roof panel. However, when somebody sits in the passenger seat they can hear the noise to their right rear.
On the prior gen Corvette, I had a very high end shop almost break (not bend) my forged Corvette wheel. So, it is very possible for someone to do if they don't know what they're doing. On the C7 sites, I've seen reference to shops that really know how to do it without using the slimy stuff, and taking hours to do the whole job. One was a small shop in SoCal as I recall. There are others, too. Those are the ones you have to find. It is still seldom the equipment and usually the person who knows how to do it, "finesse" the tire off/on the rim without crunching either.
