I recently had to have my 2016 Z's engine replaced due to oil consumption issues, which GM took care of under warranty. I just got it back this last week and i'm experiencing a lack of throttle response when accelerating out of first and when I am rolling in second and then accelerate. And it seems to happen when the car is on the hot side, like over 220 degrees. I took it in and they relearned the crank shaft but it is still an issue. Does anyone know what the issue might be?
Can you define lack of throttle response? I don't know what you're experiencing because that means different things to different people (lag, timing, lack of power output, full power but slow response, and so on).
It lugs when going to accelerate in second gear from about twenty miles an hour. I can put the pedal to the floor and it takes about five seconds to gather itself before it takes hold and goes. Where, before the motor change, it would pin you to the seat as soon as the gas was applied.
I'm assuming it's like starting with zero miles, so Maybe its in " break-in " mode of some sort? Whereas your other had some miles on it, at least above the 500 mark. Just a thought.

Yes true. I was merely going off of his first post. I just now read his other where he states It lugs after going into second gear etc. As you know, sometimes it's difficult to assess ones issue via writing, especially when we all have our different meanings of certain words when trying to describe a problem or noise etc.
Yes it's dealer time. Let them stress, that's what the warranty is for
