Who knows why they ditched the first time, but I'm bettin they hope like hell to get a valid time out of this Nurburgring Edition Z06 they are gonna sell next year.
Just wish we could get Bruton Smith to build the ring copy in vegas. BLM won't give the land though. Nevada needs to cut him off a slice and let him go at it.....could be that guys true legacy! Never rain either, plus it'll really make GM build a cooling system to validate at the Vegas ring...lol.
What is the point of this new thread and your post? Once again you have failed to convey any meaningful information. Do you speak like this, just walking around blurting out random strings of words with no context?

Need more information here...
If I understand you correctly, this car was ordered from the factory this way?
It's a new model?
Please explain, sir.
Sure - my car is not a new model. It is a 2015. As a matter of fact, it is the first registered Z06 (November 29, 2014). As far as the order, I requested the Museum to provide the Nurburgring Edition plaque (it is an option any Museum order gets - you can write whatever you want up to 24 characters). I hope this answers your questions.

So do you get asked what the Ring time for the C7Z was?

Yes, every now and then. I also get asked if my car ran the Nurburgring.
This lack of info by GM frustrates me probably more than most. I came up with the concept for my car after all the hype and their plastering of the Ring track during the reveal.

Although I think the little plaque is pretty cool, it must be a little embarrassing when you have to tell them GM has never actually released a time.

It's sad the over-hype of a Ring time and their "most track-ready Vette yet" claim.
I honestly don't really care for them either. I got them as part of a wheel promotion for the manufacturer. The upside is I get to store my almost brand new Cup2's.
