Planning a trip in the fall to do the Corvette owners 2 day course. Before I book I wanted to see if anybody else was going to plan a trip. Maybe we can plan on the same date and split a rental from Vegas. I assume without looking you'll fly into Vegas and rent a car from there.

car rentals are dirt cheap out of McCarran. If you want to deal with Fox you can probably get a two day rental for $50 or less.

Run away! I did Fox, and you need to know that to get your car, you have to find the ground transportation area at McCarran, then take a bus to a bus depot, then take ANOTHER bus to Fox, which is nowhere near the airport.
The worst part is that you need to give yourself several hours on the return trip to get your car back and take the multiple buses back to the airport.
So do yourself a favor and rent from someone either onsite or at the main hub.
I have some, a few drivers edge, fun runs at COTA, north carolina motor speedway, Texas motor speedway, Texas World and a couple others. Raced several times at Tulsa, etc...but mostly in mustangs or BMW's.
Always wanted to do Bondurant or some 2-3 day driving school. Also like that this is focused on the vettes...which are new to me.

Ha ha, a man with experience. I agree with everything you said BUT, in my case time was on my side and they had some special where I got some Korean econobox for a total price of $32 for two days, so i risked it. I left myself some extra time, but didn't need it....everything connected smoothly and it was just a few extra minutes for the extra bus ride.
We did Fox once out of Denver years ago and it was a nightmare on many levels....car not ready, car dirty, etc. That's why my original caveat was "if you can deal with Fox...."
