Just installed my new Q Ball shift **** in the Z 06. Really shortens the throw and feel really good. Brings back memories of some of my muscle cars from the 60's.
Hell I'm lost in the 60's, LOL

Ronnie Milsap +10....HA! loved that song, written by a Penn State ex football player who went on to play for the Bengals, back in the late 60's and early 70's.
Man, that really looks short.
No doubt that it must take more shift effort than stock.
I think most people have found that stock throw is close to optimum balance of shift effort and short throw.
Even MGW backed off making throw too short, and I have read about several that have removed Hinson to go back to stock.
I went with the CoreShifters modified Hurst internals shifter mainly because I liked the retro look, but throw is essentially same as stock.
Looks taller because boot is pushed low to show chrome stick.
