Ford is or has moved all small car manufacturing to mexico.
Their cars are already very cheaply made. A friend bought a NEW Focus it is such a poorly made car with no engine cover.
NAFTA will let them bring the cars here no taxes. VOTE TRUMP!

He might not be able to bring any of it back, but there may be ways to incent companies to stay or at least stop the hemoraging of jobs into other countries. At least the C7 is assembled in the U.S. and GM has brought Camaro production back to the U.S. We're not going to stop globalization, but it doesn't have to come at 100% expense of U.S. jobs.

Capital is mobile...it's all a matter of costs. Margins on small vehicles are likely not large, compared to p/u trucks & SUVs.
Build more of the latter here instead. FCA says they will be doing the same thing, b-t-w

I also bought more stuff from venders something you don't do! Also all cars sales are slowing not just Corvettes!

Don't hate the players, hate the busted game. He is good at the game, but wants to change the game to benefit the country. That won't happen overnight, as you can imagine. Most of us agree that it is busted, however.
