All allocations the same?

All allocations the same?
Just placed an order for a 3 LZ Z06 convertible
dealer had no allocations but does about 20 vetts a year
Is a "Z" allocation different than an allocation for a standard vette?
Harder to come by? resulting in longer wait?
Yes, I tried a large forum sponsor but their trade in offer was ridiculous

Absolutely...yes...yup. Lucky you are not in Canada! Look at all the happy faces in this thread and call Mike.

Last year the Z06 made up 35% of the production, so I believe that is also the percentage that is allocated to a dealer.
If he sells 20 Corvettes annually, that means he will probably get around 7 Z06 allocations for that year, or approximately one every two months.

Let us know when you finally decide to quit waiting and go with a forum vendor.

Well the best part of the site is that there is sufficient knowledge to give you a realistic view of what you expect for a trade in compared to what they offered. Post details of your trade and what was offered, remembering of course that you are trading and not selling which automatically drops the price a few k right on the outset.

Not sure which one you spoke with. All I can say is that Mike Furman @ Criswell beat several of the dealers here in Dallas by several thousand dollars on a '15 Z51 deal. And that was when they were still a hot ticket item. Made the trip to Maryland from TX well worth it as I came back via the Snake and the Dragon.
