Owners must love their Z06 convertibles
Have been lurking in the for sale section a long time. There are a lot of Z06 coupes for sale, but not many convertibles. That must mean either Z convertible owners love their cars, and don't want to sell them; or, not near as many convertibles were sold as coupes.
Either way, I think Chevy hit a homerun with this one.

I think the big dealers just do not order them. I like convertibles best but they are harder to find like you suggested. I guess buyers don't want to pay the premium or want the roof for hpde.

The Z06 vert is a fabulous machine that looks great with the top down, drives without any cowl shake, the exhaust is music for the ears, the air rolls over your head with minimal turbulance and if that is not enough crank the stereo and let out a rebel yell!

I love my convertible. If I back the car halfway out the garage to get the lawnmower that bitch is coming down.
Can raise or lower up to 30 mph which is great when you live somewhere where there's lots of rain. Dead quiet with top up. The noise cancellation means at city speeds the stereo sounds fantastic top down.
Would buy it again in a second.

I would have bought a convertible if they had some sort of rollover protection. I've had two friends roll vehicles. Don't know if they would still be around if their vehicles didn't have a roof or roll bar hoops.

Do they not have some sort of pop up rollover protection?
Anyway, love my vert...third vert Vette for me. This one is by far my favorite. I love being able to operate the top anywhere below 30 MPH.

My 93 40th Vert has gone 40,000 miles without the top ever being up. (Living in Cal means we can predict the rain and it only occurs in winter months). I intend on doing the same thing with the 16 Z. The top is only up when it is parked. Other than that it is down.

Now is that time.
The reason you don't see many convertible Z06s is that they only build around 2,000 a year. I have *NEVER* seen one in the wild and I live in a LARGE city. I see a couple of Z06 coupes a week (sometimes the same car). My convertible might be the first one I see with my own eyes in person instead of on youtube LOL

I love mine and like the others here, I don't drive it unless I can have the top down (no rain). I did drive it for two days with the top up when I had the windows tinted. The only downside I see? Massive blind spots with the top closed.

Z06 vert for sale
After reading this thread I find I suddenly have a convertible Z06 for sale! 2015 crystal red, 6k mile.
Put 2,000, one hundred dollar U.S bills in a suitcase and head to South Georgia. I'll even spring for a fresh wash and a fill-up of gas!
I LOVE my Z06 vert, but I CAN BE CONVINCED to change my mind!
Sorry, sometimes the voices in my head just make me be a smart a$$.
