Anyone have a slight vibration at any speed over 30mph? Car has 1600 miles has been there since new. Gear nor speed change the vibration. I can be in full auto or in M and it doesn't change. V4/V8 doesn't change it and RPM has nothing to do with it. No pot holes or anything to make me thing bent wheel. You can feel a very rythmic pulse in the steering wheel.
Im sure most will say take it in for alignment and balance which is what I will do. Just wondering if any one else has simillar problems with their c7 Z.

Just to clarify when you say it does not change with speed do you mean the frequency or it does not get worse going faster? I have noticed these rims get bent a fairly easy , I have not recalled hitting any potholes and have bent three rims in 24000 miles. If you have another set of wheels and tires you could swap out one wheel at a time and find out if one of them or any of them is the cause. My dealer would not do this so I ended up buying my own set of winter tires on another set of rims and it has been very helpful in diagnosing any wheel problems. If it is a wheel bend problem it would get a little worse as you go faster and the vibration usually gets bad about 90 to 100 miles an hour and really doesn't get better going above that. Typically a wheel balance problem has a sweet spot or harmonic around 65 miles an hour that is the worst and gets better as you go faster. A shop that does a "road force balance"can measure the variation of the force of the tire spinning pressed against a drum if it is out of round.
You're on the right track by ruling out the obvious. Hopefully, it's just an out of balance front tire. If the vibration wasn't there when it was new, it's still possible to have a bent wheel or maybe had a weight fall off.
there is a stretch of the garden state parkway that has caused EVERY SINGLE hi-po car of mine and my 16 Sierra to do this, subtle oscillation/vibration and it drives me nuts. it's maybe 1/2 mile long.
if your car's doing it on every road? then it's the car, but if you notice it in the same place, or particular neighborhood etc, then it's just the road. don't discount the surface, i've tracked this for years and this goes back to several repave jobs as well. i cannot explain it.
i can cruise at 75-90 and nothing everywhere else even same parkway without issue but for that one stretch
