If it still has the original Cup2 tires, they will look nearly bald and the corners are pretty rounded. Tires that have been tracked will likely have a "feathered" appearance on the outer edges, almost like a cheese grader was dragged across the tire.

These are nearly new tires

All Corvettes get a mediocre alignment at the factory. The tires on the Z07 look bald when they are brand new so don't let that discourage you. If you buy the car go to a professional alignment shop and get a good alignment that meets your needs for street or track.

That's a pretty awesome price. I didn't find anything like that when I was looking to buy mine.

If you do purchase the car, and you don't plan to track it, but use it as a bad street machine, then install the Michelin Super Sports that are standard on the base, non Z07, Z06.

They wear much better and are much safer in inclement weather.

Shortly after purchasing his Z07, a friend was on a day trip. He hit a moderate rain on the Interstate and at speeds above 45 MPH, the car was hydroplaning out of control. Other cars were driving fast, passing him and he was blocking traffic in the right hand lane. He finally pulled off onto the shoulder and waited for the rain to let up.

He told me the car was scary on the Cup tires in the rain.

When he got home, Super Sports were installed, even though the Cup tires were nearly new with practically no miles on them.
