How long did it take for your package to arrive after you took delivery? I picked up my car 21 October and have not received the yellow box yet. Thanks.

I never got a package. I called Spring Mountain with two weeks of taking Delivery and they asked me if I had received a package. Once they checked my VIN I was able to schedule a trip for two months later. I did get the other stuff that GM sent out but there was no Spring Mountain package.

One of the critiques given to the spring mountain crew while I was there was poor information about the program for new owners. They said it was something they were working on.

I just signed up at their web page and entered the VIN number. Never had to speak to anyone to initially sign up. I did this before I received anything from GM.

Nothing to do with the post, but that F type looks amazing! How do you like it compared to your vette? I was looking at a F type SVR but decided to go with the Z06. Picked up my Arctic White 3LZ 17' Z06 (Z07) a couple weeks ago and its amazing. No Jaguar dealers near me so I never got to check one out or even test drive one, but I don't think ill regret getting the Z06 over the F type SVR, although the SVR and R are really great cars. I was always leaning towards the Vette, but really liked the Jaguar F type! Maybe ill be able to check one out or test drive one in the future

We have not received our package yet either. However, we just booked the trip with Melinda today and both of us, my wife and I, are taking the course! We are really looking forward to it!

Real happy with the F Type. Ironically I was looking at a Z06 convertible as well at the time. There were a few things I couldn't warm up to on the Z06 (I have now and it wasn't the tail lights I disliked). The 550hp and AWD give it the performance and the interior gives it the luxury and performance.

Great for long road trips or short blasts to work. I could burn a whole tank of gas just running it up to 60 and back down again several times. The exhaust note with the valves open is intoxicating. No need for an aftermarket exhaust. In dynamic mode it tightens up the suspension and steering and handles like a cat on carpet.

I went with a Z06 coupe because I have two convertibles already. I haven't had a Vette coupe since the C3.

That's dope man, I hope your enjoy it cause I really do like the F type! I think you made a good choice. So far the Z06 has stepped out on me twice and I wasn't even doing half throttle from a stop. At least you can put that power to the ground with AWD. I'm happy with the vette but it's a lot of power and it still kicks the rear end out with cup 2s!

A common problem with the Z06, there are multiple threads about it and some actually have very useful threads about how to deal with it. Both the Cup 2s and the Michelin pilot super sports have the issue. I am waiting to see what the new Continental UHP street tires they are premiering in January have to offer. I am not a runflat fan and that appears to be part of the issue along with camber and caster.

Okay, I go my Z06 a couple of weeks ago and basically the salesman told me jacksh#t about anything. I knew about Spring Mountain and am enrolled for mid March but what is in the yellow box?? Hope it isn't alcohol-been sober for 30 years and a new Corvette won't change that situation

Default Infamous Yellow Box

Just FYI, you do not need the box to sign up for Spring Mountain, just call them with you VIN and CC and the date you want. I recommend the sooner the better in order to get the date you want and the track you want to drive on. They filled up really fast last year. Outstanding instructors and an awesome facility and tracks.....money well spent.

When I bought my 15 it took approximately 4 months. When I got my 16 it was about 10 weeks.
