Default Bayed Status?

Does that mean the car is built and sitting in storage? If so, what is the typical time it sits before it ships?

Yes, it has been built and is waiting for shipment. It can be days or weeks, usually about 8 days if it is going east, not sure about those going west.

Here was my recent experience. Car was built on 12/01 and stayed at the plant for about 4 days before being trucked to Toledo, OH and put on a train. It stayed in Toledo for over a week before the train started moving west. It took almost four weeks for the train to get to the PNW.

Pacific North West=Seattle in my case. If you're in Atlanta they might just truck it to your dealer?
