Stock 2016 C7/Z06 with DeWitts radiator, GM auxiliary radiator, stock 194 degree thermostat, 80/20 water/antifreeze, plus Purple Ice.
Tried a 170 degree thermostat. Made no difference during track use but engine ran too cool in normal street driving which causes problems.
Ambient was 74 degrees. Water temp peaked at 214 degrees.
Even at 214 degrees ecu is pulling 3 to 4 degrees of timing.
Bigger problem was manifold air temp which was 200+ degrees after 3 laps.
Could feel the engine loosing power at full throttle. It would be nice if the PDR could log manifold air temp!
Those track temps are about what I see with my car on a similar temp day. Mid 210s coolant and mid 250s for oil. I have the GM supplemental radiator with every thing else stock.
