Looking to upgrade front C7 Z06 headlights with the brightest 5000K Lumens bulbs available.


Wondering if anyone has replaced their stock bulbs and upgraded to a more powerful brighter white light bulb?


If so, can you advise which bulbs, kits or unit? Results over stock?

I would also advise to make sure what you buy will last a long time because changing the bulbs on our cars sucks.

I have done aftermarket bulbs in other cars and they never seam to last very long compared to stock ones.

The headlights on C7s are plenty bright. Changing them out seems like a terrible idea.

Would there be that much of a difference going from 4300k stock to 5000k aftermarket?

You are getting lumens confused with color/temperature. 4300 Kelvin is closest to natural sunlight and offers the most illumination of colors available. Also, the oem bulbs are of higher quality than 98% of aftermarket replacements and will last longer.
