That's awesome! That's exactly what I'm doing next month! I'm guessing you had them powder coated and got the relocation kit and wires which roughly came to around $1000?

Yes may have been a little more. The yellow matches the calipers But most of all the coils are out of the heat trap. In Florida we look for every way possible to get the heat into the air. And it looks like an engine Next I'm changing the plastic PVC and Radiator Vent lines to black silicone. I like changing up the looks a little along with my performance Mods.. A little at a time

Looks great. I honestly don't understand why GM doesn't dress these engines like this from the factory.

I've read that those aluminum expansion tanks don't help the cooling process but hinder it! The tanks that I have seen are made out of aluminum and aluminum conducts heat better than it disapates it. I was gonna get a tank and polish it up but after I read this and this being the reason why GM made theirs out of plastic, is why for the time being in staying away from them until I do more research!

Awesome!
Simply awesome. Katech has been color matching valve covers forever.

It would be nice if Katech would package everything together and offer it at a bit better price. I really like the look and the absence of plastic. It's just a bit more than I want to spend on an Appearance mod. Wouldn't take much to get me to pull the trigger though.
