Radial tire race in Tulsa.

No bars are generally used in the Radial v. World classes.

I'm guessing that is was not a Z51 and had the full three air dam installed. The C7's are known to get airborne because of lack of front downforce due to three piece air dam.

Could have been prevented if they had just taken the time to remove the center section of the air dam(as per Tadge's explanation of why the center section is not used on the Z51's).

Sure is a strange looking GM LT4.

I wonder if he really thought that hitting the brakes while he was fully airborne was going to stop him any quicker.

I thought it was because he removed the weather stripping at the back of the hood so he could hear his Turbo's better. . .
