Default Body colored wheel spats

Installed my new body colored wheel spats; I like the new look. This is how the car should come IMO.

Much better than stock, nice work. How did you get it done?

I do prefer they match whatever aero kit though, Carbon Flash or Exposed Carbon Fiber. I ordered the Carbon Fiber Spats and am very pleased

Those look awesome and are something I would seriously consider for my new Torch Red Z. I looked on PFYC's site and did not see them, however. Could you provide a link?

Dealer did the install, car was there for some work, they threw this in. Pretty simple install.

I've got a great guy at my dealership who has worked on 'Vettes for me probably for the last 10 years. He installed the splash guards on my new Z so I'm sure he'd be able to do these with no problem. Going to seriously consider this mod because I really like how they look on your car.

On the CF wrap, did you wrap the aero also or just the spats? Apparently there is a new CF wrap film available now that is a huge improvement over the old CF film that tended to dull with age.

I just did the spats on mine, yeah the new CF film is nice. I wrapped mine in 3m dinoc, it's matte but they make gloss.

Very simple removal install

2-3 screws at the back and maybe one at the top (turn the wheel or a right angle drill, I used a small air ratchet with a screw bit attachment)

The hard part is the two strips of double sided tape, but push firmly and it'll start coming off. Some have mentioned a heat gun on low or I would try with a blow dryer first

Install is the reverse

Matching color on spats look fine, but on my white car with black accents, I still like the black spats.

Yes, that would help push me to doing something like this. They do look nice on the Torch Red car and I think they would also probably look good on my LBR. RPI's website shows the same product and uses same pix as PFYC. Also same price. I didn't see free shipping on RPI's site, but I am sure they would match PFYC. They are a good vendor, where I also bought my side skirts, I am sure PFYC is also a good vendor, just have no experience there. I wonder if RPI makes them for PFYC or vice versa? --Bob

Did you remove to wrap or do it while on the car?

Yeah, it looks like they're both selling the exact same product so either one makes them for the other or there's a company making them for both vendors. If RPI offered a 15% off deal on these it would be very tough to pass up. Do they run those specials often?
