lol the spread on a C7Z is more than 40k. So where does it stop? Mine being just under 100k and a 3LZ you would THINK it would have almost everything. It doesn't. Believe me, the car doesn't justify that msrp.

It does the just about 80k I did pay however. The rocker extensions are nice on some colors and even then if not exposed carbon on certain colors or carbon flash on othets they look odd to me. Like matching right pair of shoes to an outfit. Seems a bit girly. Np if you're a metro or girl lol. Some of us never a fan of that extra cladding down low.

and for anyone thinking it has an aero effect? Lol nit at that height, matter if fact not at the lowest height in factory bolts.

the splitter with canards does and so does the rear. Sides are pure asthetics. No fucntion.

Third and last time. The side skirts ARE NOT standard on ALL 2017 Z06's.

True for ALL 2017 Z06 and GS, GM refers to them as "molded rocker extensions". See http://www.corvettemuseum.org/wp-con...eringGuide.pdf and other sources.

Bob, they are shipped with the car and installed as part of PDI which is the same way they were handled in 2015 and 2016 when ordered with the car as part of a package; none are installed at the factory. If you ordered a 2017 and didn't receive them check what your dealer has been selling on ebay lately

Maybe instead of barking at each other "Yes they do", "No they don't" someone could look it up, find the actual answer, and post a link to it.

See post above your previous post (#45), the link is there. Quote from first page of the linked PDF order guide, "New molded rocker extensions now standard on Grand Sport and Z06".

Which are not the "side skirts" they are a 3/4 length weird half breed thing looks like an afterthought and even then they don't stop upper rear quarter blasting without mud guards.. way to go gm. Thanks for the pant leg catcher lol

But they do, unless you specifically ask your dealer not to install them.
Another 2017 owner right here

Respectfully disagree, they do block rocks from kicking up and damaging the vehicle rear quarter.

Now, I will state that potentially both the 3/4 and full size side skirt MAY not block 100% of the stones kicked up.

Lucky for me, I have a 2017. The ride home from the dealership had snow salt on the road, I could hear the salt hitting the underneath of the skirt so I know they're very effective. I swapped them for Caravaggio Exposed Carbon Fiber to match my roof, I hear the same defense system going on.

Happy to report that I have zero rock chips on the rear quarters (as everyone knows NJ roads are horrible). My protection is the skirts and now XPel.

Also, I disagree with your opinion on appearance. In my opinion, they're very nice, I ordered my Caravaggio skirts at the same time I ordered my car. When I finally saw my car 2 months later, I kinda regretted spending thousands on the Caravaggio parts...but I really wanted the Carbon Fiber finish to match the splitter, roof, and spats

Yup, I actually meant a link to the more unlikely claim, which is that they DON'T come with skirts. Which is what someone keeps repeating without substantiating it.

I thought all GS and Zs now came with them, but the one guy keeps saying no, I want to see him support that if its true.

Got it Dave, thanks!

Here is a link I posted in another "skirts" thread that shows a 1LZ for sale at MacMulkin with the standard short skirts (it has neither the CFV or CFZ upgrade aero options so these are stock):

take a look at this 1LZ at MacMulkin with no optional ground effects which has the stock skirts that should have been included with yours. Call one of the big dealers to get the correct info: http://www.macmulkin.net/VehicleDeta...-NH/2889069193

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I like the 3/4 side skirts but not as much as the full length ones.

I like them, not only for the paint protection, but for the "Bad-***" look the car has with them. My opinion. To each their own.

Man those two pics right there can't make it any more clear how they look great on one color and not on the other....

And yeah, they (neither style) do anything for the area above where the front tire sticks out, that's what destroys the upper rear quarter panels. Above the brake duct. Like a slow long term media blasting of the paint. Eventually you look at it and say Wtf!

Ordered Stage 2 Aero on my car and wouldn't have it any other way. Makes the Z06 look so much more aggressive.

I should have known by reading some of your old posts that I shouldn't expect to hear anything coherent from you.
