Default 715rwhp on E85. No meth. No nitrous. All fuel through DI injectors.

Yesterday we were testing our new C7 Z06 fuel system on my car with E85. Actual measured ethanol content was E73, but the fuel pumps have plenty of capacity for E85.

The vehicle is equipped with our Stage 3 package. We are testing our new fuel system which uses the production fuel pump to feed a 6.0L surge tank. We turned to technical partner Deatschwerks to supply twin 355lph pumps and the pressure regulator. One pump runs all the time and the other is boost referenced. It has a foam-lined closeout panel to reduce interior noise and the carpet will go over the top of that. We also tested our LT4 enhanced DI injectors. The DI pump is the OEM LT4 with +38% cam lobe.

The car put down 715rwhp. We didn't get a torque figure yesterday because the tires spun hard on the dyno and it was not our focus to get an advertised number, rather just to test the function of the fuel system. However we've made 735+rwtq during previous testing.

More testing is scheduled for additional products.

The fuel system will be installed on a couple more vehicle projects here now. We will likely sell it as a tuner kit where you get the tank, closeout panel, pumps, regulator, wiring and plumbing diagrams and your installer make lines and wire it.

Production parts will vary a little in appearance.

Nice was the 19x torque from spinning so bad?

That's power. That was not a dyno pull.

Wow - nice to see new products to augment the fuel system to handle pure E85. Quick question - how much of this system is needed to handle pure E85 on a simple bolt-on car?

Depends on what you mean by bolt ons. I think there are some people on here running intake and exhaust with E85 on the stock fuel system.

Meaning without spending thousands of dollars on a cam install. What will this system do on a stock cam car with simple bolt ons (lower pulley, cai, headers, etc)? Still possible to run full e85 then, without the assistance of a bigger cam lobe?

I believe there are people on this forum doing it, but we've never tested E85 here on the stock fuel lobe. I don't like answer questions like that without having testing to back it up.

Any idea where pricing might fall?

you can run E85 on a stock Z06 with intake and headers but once you go to a pulley you need to move to E40 or so for more fueling headroom.

I have a feeling a cam install will be less expensive than this fuel system although it is what we have all wanted in order to avoid meth dependency.

Higgs,
What is the drawbacks form installing Meth? I am in one of those states KS where allI can get is 91...so I opted for Meth. I also have a Lingenfelter lower pulley install.
