Tire shop RUINED my rims
'16 Z06 with the gloss black rims are GOUGED all along the same areas on each of the rims.
I need advice on how to get these REPLACED. I will not settle for being "fixed." I did not take my car in with a single mark nor touch up ANYWHERE on the car, and I intend on keeping it this way.
I have VIDEO footage of how the rims looked 15 min prior to their 3 and 1/2 hour installation.
Can someone lead me to the part # for these rims please?
If this issue is not resolved within the next 48 hours I will release the shop's name & push the issue to ALL social media.
Thanks for anyone who can assist in this mind troubling situation.

Burning Brakes
Just go to GM parts online or Trunk Monkey online and input your year/make/model. It will give you specific parts and part numbers for your car. I believe there is also an option to put your VIN #.
Did you put Stock OEM tires on or was it another size or brand?

I'll try the VIN idea. Looking at what they cost right now, but didn't know the exact part # on these rims.
They are the same size as OEM, but they are the Continental's.

My local stealership had a new Camaro in their showroom with black powdercoated wheels they did as a dealer installed option. All 4 wheels had gouge marks from the mounting machine. Some shops don't have the "touchless" mounting machines OR they just don't give a sh*t

I don't understand why they even risk a $100 install on $2600 rims.

If the shop offered to fix them and you refuse may have a tough time in small claims unless its super severe I dont see them buying you new ones,if they did same thing
Give em a shot at fixing them.
See your point on wanting a perfect car but they rarely stay that way
Post up pics of your damage

They have insurance for a reason, and that is for instances like this. It isn't a mom and pop shop where I would just write this off as my own fault. You have a multi million (billion) dollar company, and can't invest in the proper mechanical tools to do such a job? What a joke.
They can mount them again if they choose to try, or hand me rims that were in the same condition as I had gave them, and I'll do it somewhere else.
I don't care if a car rarely stays in the same condition in it's life. If you as the OWNER take your $70,000 car into service in immaculate condition, you expect to receive it in that same condition.
If I did the damage to the car myself, I could understand and just take my losses. It's hard to believe that you are OK with seeing damage caused by someone else on your expensive toys.
I tell you what, let someone into your home and destroy $2,600 worth of stuff & tell me how you feel then.

Can you see this damage when the wheels are on the car and the car is sitting on the ground? If not then I think you need to rethink what is acceptable or not. I have had plenty of wheels on my cars that have the marks inside the barrel from tire changing machines none of those marks were visible once the wheel was on the car and sitting on the ground. If they aren't visible then there isn't any damage and you are being unreasonable. That company you are complaining about probably has thousands of Customers running around with similar marks on their wheels and not even knowing the marks are there.

Damage is on the face on 1 rim and on the lips of all of 4 rims.
