See what I mean brother.

I own a 06 H/C/I C6Z and 15 C7Z. Those are the forums I post in.

Not me. I financed mine for 72mos at under 2% APR and put the cash to work in other ways. Did the same for my wife's Jeep Grand Cherokee. 60mos at 1.34% and put that cash to work as well. $120K earned close to 9% so far, more than offset the interest rate paid.

We played this one out pretty well in another thread, but some just feel more comfortable paying cash. I feel more comfortable converting cash into income. Just a different mindset. Same reason I don't pay my house off and carry what's left of a 15yr mortgage, paid twice a month which turns it into a 12.5yr mortgage. I may refi again as I only have 5 years left.

Some of you in the "can't afford it geritol group" need visual proof that some of us can afford any car GM produces as your comprehension skills are gone. If I had just said I own a 640k house you would be calling BS I'm sure.

probably not a very nice house in ventura, cali, though, right?

800-2000 sqft? yikes. do you even have a garage to put your C6Z in?

best I can tell my house would be around 1.6 million if I lived in ventura but I'm not stupid enough to live in CA anyways.

no need to reply, I have no dog in this hunt, I am just poking at you.

Real estate is stupid here, about 1100 square feet. Just the wife and I so the size is great for us. Fortunately home values go up about every month.
And yes, the 2 car garage is great and I don't have to share it.

It could be worse, we could be in San Francisco where the median home price is 1.2 million.

my wife is from ventura county and opted to stay in TX, one major reason was crazy real estate prices.

we love to visit though. i can rent an awesome car and dont have time to mod it, it's a win win win.
