Got my Trinity and I can't get it to finish the initial set up on my car. It's updated to the latest firmware and it runs for about 3-4 minutes running through various things I guess then it always ends up with failed cut error. Any suggestions? I've called them and am just sitting on hold waiting to see if they can sort it out.

Been there done that...your car was probably not included in the range of VINs covered when DS built that particular update. Just my guess but if I am correct the solution could take sometime or until they put out another update.
Do you by chance have an early VIN of a given model year?
Just curious.
This week Diablo failed on 04356, 03942 and 02092 just on this forum. I have 03942 so it's a guaranteed fail. Plus the C7 Stingrays are failing to load. All 2017 issues. Bummer.
the 2017 went from an E92 ECM to the E92A. different hardware, costs twice as much to license with HPTuners. HPT can also access the TCM but it costs twice as much plus a hardware fee/send it in for modification.
Another update: got an email today that the issues had been resolved and to call in and they'd get it sorted out. It's not fixed and at this point I've spent over 3 hours on the phone with tech support and it's still doing the exact same thing it was when I bought it.

Good info Higgs.
For the gallery:
I am sure Diablo/others will get this worked out. These challenges occur from time to time.
A possibility for folks who don't want to send their ECM in for modification may be able to buy an E92 controller to replace the E92A that comes with the car.
If the E92 is compatible (harness, fit , form and function) with the 2017 models this may allow folks to tune their 2017's without delay.
Of course there are a few other implied task mating the new controller to the vehicle and its theft deterrent (VATS) system.
(Please folks spare us the "but it voids the warranty" lecture.)
Just a suggestion as of now I have no way of knowing if the two ECMs are interchangeable but my gut feeling tells me they are.
Just food for thought.

I bought the trinity last year for my 2016 Z and installed it right before an out of town trip and found out I had no cruise control and infotainment issues. For $600 plus part I expected too much I guess so I pulled off the side of the interstate downloaded the original map and sent the POS back for a refund when I got home. The whole package just looked cheap.
Boosting1bar, did you ever get Trinity to work ? Diablo claims the problem is only with the InTune units and that Trinity does work.
Sort of. Been on the phone with tech support a couple more times and we have it to the point where the Trinity will communicate with the car now at least. Still no tune available though.
