When I was doing consulting work for the NICB back in the mid 1990s that was how a lot of stolen cars left the country. Most of them that were recovered were OK.
I agree with others I would have created some wells around the tires to better lock them in place from shifting. And definitely put a cover on the C7 and then put high density foam around that to protect it from damage from anything else that comes loose during shipment.
Best of luck to both you and your possessions having a safe and enjoyable trip back home!

Hopefully the boxes in the pickup are tied down. If the water gets rough those are the things that would fly around the easiest. If the vehicles are properly cross strapped they won't move around. I cross strap my Vette on my trailer and running over bumpy roads in the rain it doesn't move on my steel bed trailer.

LOL Don't worry guys, I have been dealing with this shop from 2006 and shipped over 100 cars. McLarens, Lambo, Mercedes, Ferraris..etc. Not a single vehicle arrived to my home town with a single scratch.
Will post the pics once LadyZ and the truck arrive.
The boxes are tied down under the end of the Bed cover, there's no way they will move

Khalid,
I am glad they made it home in beautiful shape! Like the Texas Tech tag on your GMC. I was out there for my PhD from 1986-89. I don't miss the Lubbock dust storms however.

Glad to see a Red Raider! I graduated from Texas Tech back in 2009, BS in mechanical engineering. Loved Texas Tech and loved Lubbock. The dust storms was normal for me as we get worse here in Qatar.

I had a Monte Carlo SS while I was in Lubbock and when I traded it in on a GMC pickup in 1991 the salesperson was amazed by the finely etched windshield from the dust and it was kept covered in a garage when it wasn't being driven. I got caught in one of the dust storms while running with my dissertation chair and it turned to hail before we made it back to campus. My chair owned a '71 Corvette and even though we were getting pounded by hail we were happy to be on foot and not in our cars although this just confirmed to others that PhDs are nuts
