Cupholders?
I have had my 2016 Z06 for almost 1 year now. I love the car but I have been annoyed by a minor issue. The cup holders are not very good at doing what they are designed to do - hold a cup securely. My 2005 C6 was more efficient than the new one. Has anyone found a replacement or a modification to the stock set up? Thanks

What do you mean "cup"? Literally a cup of coffee? If so, you're SOL.
I use a can of soda, no problem. For coffee, I use an OXO insulated travel mug that is short and wide (not the tapered version) like a popcan and barely moves even when empty.

I bought a set of beer can foam cousies (sp) and cut them height wise to fit and stuffed them into the holders in the car. They hold normal size water bottles just fine. Nothing gets loose even with the hardest of driving. Did this on my 2015 Z06 and now new ones on my 2017.

The divider on mine gets loose, comes out, all the time. I know your frustration. I use too many different sizes to warrant a "permanent" solution.

I have the same issue, the middle divider won't stay in place and soda cans won't stay in place. If I am going to get on it I make sure to have any beverages securely in place with a hand on them.

You can't use the C6 double cup holder that fits in the passenger foot well but they make a C7 one that will hold one beverage very securely. Just take a look at our vendors and you will find it. I keep my 30 oz Yeti in the oem cuphold as it fits securely in that size opening, but keep my coffee mug on the passenger side of the console in the aftermarket cup holder. neat and cheap.
Google: C7 Corvette Stingray Cup Holder Single
Do note the double will only fit in the C6 so get the single.

I agree. My problem is the center piece keeps coming out and is loose when put back in. I'm not sure why it is removable to begin with. I'm going to try some double sided tape to see if I can get it to stay in place.

On my Stingray, the center piece popped out all the time...not so much on the Z06. Gratefully.

Never had any problems with center console piece in my 2015 M7, but in my 2016 A8 C7.R it keeps popping out - not sure what the difference would be if any

I transferred the double cup holder from my C6 Z06 to my C7 Z06. Works good just can't open the glove compartment all the way without moving the cup holder, but who gets into the glove compartment anyway?

These work really well for holding cans more securely. Also keeps them cold!

Me too. The travel buddy double cupholder I bought for my C6 fits both my Stingray and my C7 Z06 with no issues A little difficult to reach around the grab bar, but it will hold almost any bottle securely.
