Default C7 Corvettes are not selling..........

I just got a sales brochure from Les Stanford Chevy. It says they have 250 2017 Corvettes on hand, and will sell them for 0% interest and with GM employee pricing for everyone! They are offering $15,000 OFF on 2017 Z06s..................therefore, I believe they are having a hard time selling these cars...................right?

(Probably NOT a good thing if you have just bought one at full price tho)

Now is the time to walk into a dealer and put a 20-22% off MSRP offer, they have to move all these cars before the 2018's hit the floor.

Got the same brochure, Only one was 15k off and the original MSRP was 104k I believe. There were only 3 Z06s in the mailing. The others were not 15k off, one of the others was 12k off.

If anyone that bought one recently did not get at least 10% off then they didn't negotiate well.

I don't think that 0% pertained to Z06s. only stingrays and z51s.

gray, white, black over and over. No wonder they have such a large inventory. Why would someone buy such a flashy car and try to hide it with a pedestrian color?

Last Friday an additional $4k under GM emp price offer from Les Stanford listed in the Dealer car section of this forum ended. a z06 a8 for $71k. I thought that was a great deal, until I saw his ebay adv for the exact same car..$69,800 OBO, So an Ebayer got an even better deal! Thought Les Stanford would give Corvette forum members at least as good a deal as he offers to all Ebayers. sigh.

if you want to go that route maybe you should unbutton some more and flash your big gold chain and leave your bank statement under the wiper. Not all of us who buy this car do it for the "flash" lol. Subtle is a more dramatic statement of a world class sports car.

Actually they have 35. Nor sure where you were looking, but I needed to check about 5 different trim levels to get them to show up.

Still, I don't think it's especially surprising that in June of the model year there are incentives on leftover stock. You see that in October of the model year, then it's surprising.

Also you better like Black, White, or Grey, and probably love the 1LZ feature set. These aren't the cream of the crop that are left over, but there are deals to be had if that's what you're personally looking for.

Hide it? What? Nothing wrong with those colors. I wish black wasn't a pain to take care of because black is THE color for C7s. White and dark grey also look great...as do all of the colors...even yellow. Sorry, but what exactly are you talking about?

Was expecting that just not so crude. Maybe you like the subtle colors to help tone down your obnoxious..... You fill it in.

OK, but why so many? If these colors are so loved why are there so many left and hardly any "in your face" colors?

It is weird that they have so many. Obviously they have an allocation for many which means at some point they were selling them (I imagine). No telling why the inventory is sitting there, but there are not many ZO6s. I know many people stay away from black but white and grey are popular colors for the C7 so not sure....but I am confident color does not have anything to do with it.

Default because more people ordered white than any other color

I agree with the other guy, go back to your gold chains now, people like you make the corvette stereotype real

So many because a dealer is going to order colours that have the broadest appeal and the widest buyer base for their inventory.

Maybe the market is saturated, the newness is wearing off since the C7 has been out sInce 2014, buyers are waiting for bigger discounts, or the economy isn't as good as the media presents it, or a combination of all these factors.

It might be legit, but with Les Stanford it's important to read the fine print.

All Z06's are auto, not a manual in the bunch.
