Default Rear Diffuser by Ivan Tampi

I would like to have your opinions about this diffuser. I don't intend to install the wide bodysuit, just the diffuser on a ZO6 ZO7.

Let me know

WOW love it!! I like how the inside fin is larger and tapers to the side. If the price is right it's a winner in my book. Please shoot me a PM price and expected production date.

More picture from a distance please.
I like the over look, but not the stick on looking center fins. I think it would look much better if it was all one piece.

They are about 2k for CF and around $1500 for fiberglass. Handmade one piece at a time. I had them on my 2016 Z06 but If I would do it again I would choose the Fiberglass and have them painted carbon flash to match the bumper.

I don't like the rounded edges near the attachment points to the car. Doesn't match the rest of the design language. I was Hoping the ZR1 would have a better looking diffuser and then I could simply swap the part. Maybe there's still a chance that it will have it but since none of the mules do I'm not holding my breath.

Also, frankly I'd like to see some aero testing with these things. Does it actually reduce drag at all? Any more downforce in the rear? If so countering in the front at all? I refuse to do something that looks all "because racecar" but doesn't actually do a damn thing.

Best,
Gene

I think it's a bit too extreme relative to the Stage 3 aero on the car - if it were 75% the size, it'd match better.

It also seems a little "stick on", though it actually probably is not - might look different in person.

So I guess I'm saying "I like it, but I'd like a little less of it".

I think it's different for sure and does make the rear end look better. I think the way the rear end looks on the C7 has always been kind of skimpy

Does it actually do anything, or is it just a cosmetic part, like Lambo-style doors on Corvettes?

OK I understand 5thGear.

I don't know what to think, sometimes I love it and another time I think it's too much...
