Any car on any real race track is , if driven correctly, is flat out all the time, every corner, every straight, every braking zone, rpm not dropping below 2000 rpm from red line ,every time usually much less, with close ratio transmissions or transaxles. Lap after lap,
Hell, current NASCAR engines average 8000 rpm for the entire 500 mile race. If a car is on a track and it overheats, it needs to be modified....
