Default Newbie question

Driving home today, car just to warmed up and gave it enough gas to go into a boost condition. Then I hear Warning, followed by something I could not hear because of the radio. I did notice I could not get into boost when pushing it after that. I assume it was related to that. No dic message and no check engine light. Drove home normal after that without trying to push it. Is there a list of verbal warnings somewhere?

Just a scientific guess, but if the engine is not up to full operating temp, the car will let you know you are exceeding the recommended RPM with shift lights & a chime wanting you to shift. My M7 Z has giving me that warning before when the engine was not up to temps it wanted.

Update. I diagnosed a bad supercharger bypass solenoid. Changed it and back in business.

You "heard" a warning but there was no DIC message? I'm confused! Glad you fixed it but what did you mean by "heard" a warning?

I've never heard a verbal warning yet!
