Akrapovic Full System

Hey guys!

Whos got the Akrapovic Evolution system here (the full one with the x-pipe) and all that. what headers work with it? any brand? can i go longtubes?

I have the full Akrapovic Evolution system. I wanted to use their x-pipe with 2" American Racing headers. Had to have a connection fabricated to connect them. I wanted this for weight reduction as the Akrapovic x-pipe is titanium.

To my knowledge no headers will connect to them without alterations.

I have Stainless works 1-7/8" longtubes which came with their own x-pipe and the Akra's bolted right on.

I put the Akra Slip on system mated with ARH 2" headers because it wouldn't work with the full EVO system, couldn't be happier.

B&B were the only ones making LT's that would mate up to the stock mid-pipe for the C6 Z06/ZR1; so many guys used those to mate to their Ti Akra Evo systems. Maybe check to see if B&B's LT's are constructed to do the same on a C7. That would be a cat-less setup though. A good feature with the aforementioned ARH mid-length headers is at least they offer a "with cat" option, which is nice for cutting down on the fumes.

Went with kit from X-pipe back still retained full valve functions which was important so when I enter neighborhood I can quiet it down.

I have a Akrapovic Evolution on my 2008 Z06. The only LTs headers that will bolt on, without modifying, are the Billy Boats LTs, which I also have.
