so while i was away on holidays. i had my C7.R in to get ceramic wax job and then XPEL on the entire car, even did a nice XPEL tint on the windows and rear window.
the XPEL installer said it was overkill but i thought if i was going to the expense of getting the whole car wrapped i would want it to look its best prior.
I love overkill, so I can understand that both ceramic and Xpel sound awesome , but in this case adding ceramic would be too much, if you get the Xpel self healing film wrapped over your entire car that's more than enough , my entire car is wrapped with the self healing Xpel, it really works , and even on black paint you will never even get or see swirl marks , you can pour warm water and the film smooths out again , the quality of Xpel ultimate (I think that's what they call it ) is stellar and really works as advertised , Xpel is a must do in my book for keeper cars .

Yeah, your money what do you care what we think or anyone for that matter... like a very Genius forum member once said "do it right the first time, there are no dress rehearsals in Life"
if you didn't do what you wanted you'd be regretting THAT once you got the car back..
you put a ceramic coat on it and THEN Xpel over top? In that order? Correct order is paint correction, then Xpel, then ceramic coat over the Xpel...if you feel the need for the ceramic coat that is...

maybe a dumb question, but why would you put ceramic coat paint sealer on top of Xpel?

Exactly how mine is done. Expel only partial. Ceramic pro for the Wax and ease it maintenance
