RIGHT NOW I HAVE 2 degrees neg camber in front and 1.7 negative in rear
after a couple track days I'm seeing excessive wear on the outside with little or none on the inside
that tells me I need more negative camber. 2.5 degrees maybe????
problem :
alignment shop tells me I can't get anymore negative camber without upgrading control arms and lowering car
I was hoping to get more negative camber out of the stock suspension components
Any thoughts or other experiences out there
thanks family once again

They are correct for the rear your maxed out with out using different rear toe bars. Without you will not be able to get the rear toe in. I believe there is more to get out of the front. You wont hurt anything best is to try it out and monitor your wear. Or, with a white shoe polish mark the side walls to see how much roll your getting could be a pressure issue too.
Every track wants a slightly different alignment therefore it all comes down to testing. Believe me I know this all to well.....

I have the same camber, 2/1.6 and agree it isn't enough as I too am killing my tires. I am getting mine aligned again but will defer to GSpeed as to how much more to add. I think at least 2.5 front and 2 rear but as mentioned, each track is different. Ideally you would change alignments for each track. Unfortunately I am towing my car 12 hours one way just to find a shop I trust to do mine right.

I really only had issues with not enough camber when running Hoosiers. The MPSC2 and Pirelli slicks seemed to do fine with it in the -2.3F -2.0R. With the AMT camber kit and Granatelli toe links I'm sure I could get at least another .5 degree at both ends. I had to keep shimming them to get it down and don't have the LCA at the max setting either.
My thread on doing my own track alignment here. Now that I've done my own alignment I also have very low confidence that the alignment you get at most shops is really accurate. https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...s-learned.html
