Caster setting
Hello I'm getting ready to do an alignment with my local alignment shop. The tech is suggesting a Plus .05 degrees caster. Setting in the rear. I've read it should be 0° straight up and down. Any thoughts out there

I had mine set at 0* and it made a huge difference in the stability of the car. I can't compare/contrast with +.07 or +.05, but glad to hear you are spending money where it counts. Many people don't seem to care about a proper alignment to include the rear caster.

The Chevy spec for rear caster is 0.0° +/- 0.8°.
I have the DSC mag shock controller, and my rear caster is set to +0.8°, which is still within the Chevy specs.
I think the DSC spec of +0.7° to +0.8° is a very good setting whether you have the DSC controller or not, and it's very good for the street and track.
