Hey guys I'm going to be in the market for a Z06 soon and I seen this photo. I was wondering if anyone could ID this front splitter.

Going to be an expensive life with that one. The stock one is near $400 and gets nailed all the time.

Welcome to the forum, and FYI that's sort of a troll first post!!

That's not a C7, so you're in the wrong section.

That looks like a base C6 (from what the front caliper looks like) with some kind of whacko body mods (but I'm all for owners doing what they like - but that particular car doesn't appeal to me).

So....based on that not being a C7, and not being a Z06 of any generation, I can't tell you anything about that splitter.

I do apologize for that being my first post. I'm a very active member on ls1tech with me constantly working on two 4th gen camaros, One being a heavily modified lt1 n/a running in the mid 10's and the other being an drag strip car looking to run in a 8.90 index class (that having a LME 427 ls7 with an F1-x procharger). My brother inlaw having a c4 and my father inlaw having a c5, Ive been on the hunt for a C6 z06 of my own. again sorry just trying to break out into the corvette world seen this vette looking like it had zr6x widebody and front splitter seems to be much like the one on the "club sport" vette.

Some people feel better when they get to try to make others feel foolish or stupid for making errors. Its pretty common on this forum. You will find soon on this forum many love the opportunity to chastise you for errors, probably because they are perfect humans.

Aha!!! Good to hear you know what you want!!

Again, welcome to the forum. Before responding to your first post I looked in your profile to see if you had some info on what cars you've had, but there's nothing at all in there or your post to indicate what your interests were.

Now that we know that you really are interested in a C6 Z06, we can redirect you to the correct area of the forum to get your question fully answered.

Take a look at the C6 Z06 section here:

https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...1-and-z06-136/

I'm sure the members over there will be able to tell you exactly what you're interested in knowing.

Keep checking here in the C7 section and maybe you'll decide to get the newest generation. I had a C6 Z06, and still have a ZR1, but the C7 Z06 is a really fantastic car!!!

You have experience with the LS7, so if you really want that, go for it. After I put my 4th engine in my C6 Z06 I decided to sell it.

Good luck finding the Vette you want!! And fill in your profile with info about it when you get it!!

Thanks guys, for the feed back. I'll post my question on the c6 z06 forum. BEZ06, that sucks about all those motors. I went with Lsx on my 427...it's a proven platform known to take a beating. I'm not saying Ls aluminum platform is not proven but with boost levels hitting 15-20 lbs the Lsx barely breaks a sweat. The titanium internals I have help as well.
