Default Upgrade question

if one wanted to change up the heads and cam on a 2016 Z and also replace the stock 1.7 supercharger with the 2.3 maggie for the lt4 what kind of other upgrades would be necessary? not looking 1400hp just something in the ball park of 800rwhp. I've seen some guys with 416CID motors, but I'm sure that is plenty expensive. thoughts?

with RWHP such a loose calculation it could be done a few ways depending on the dyno and operator. IMO if you're shooting for 800 torque at the wheels (in that area) the 2.3 maggie and Methanol injection with new headers and pulleys you'll be at least 800 torque at the rear wheels.

I have a lot to learn and not a tuner or expert. My Z06 upgrade ran on what my expert tuner called a conservative dyno 790HP (660 RWHP) and 730-750 RW Torque at the wheels in the mid RPM ranges.

I ran the same car similar temps on a what I was told a basic dyno that didn't use a wind fan or use weight of the car and it showed much higher calculated HP and torque measured at the wheels putting HP from 790 to close to 900 HP and torque 850 or higher..... For me knowing the initial Dyno numbers and those after the install show the increase and less the actual real world numbers....

Maybe someone who knows a bit about dyno's can explain but from what I understand the weight, relative wind applied to the car while on the dyno makes a big difference to show true performance you're achieving.

My work made the car into a monster I flell in love with. My next upgrade before swapping out the SC to a new 2.65 comping out Q1 2018 is track tires making putting down the power I have now much more solid and consistent.

2016 Z06
-- Kooks headers and Cat converter
-- Upper and lower pulley upgraded
-- Methanol injected
-- lower thermostat (170 I believe)
-- Copper spark plugs
-- Hand tuned
