Default Winter Storage Tips

Hey all!

I know its a bit early to be thinking about this but I am starting to wonder if there are some tips out there for storing the Z over the winter that may be helpful?

Thanks!

I use to go through the whole winterizing regiment in the past on various vehicles, but recently I have been just pluging in the battery tender with no issues.

Also, at leased in the northeast, we no longer get the 5 month deep freeze. You can occasionally get temperatures in the 60s from November through March...

I second that! I keep mine on a tender most of the time anyway, over the winter I do throw some fuel treatment in just for extra protection.

I'm with sTz also. Last year I completely put it in a bubble and didn't look at it until around Tax Day. Not this year. I'm just gonna plug it in and if we get a beautiful weekend day randomly in the winter months and roads are clear/salt free, I'm gonna fire her up for a drive!!

Fresh oil, fill the gas tank (some will argue that one), battery tender. Don't start it unless you can take it for a good drive. Then look for opportunities to drive it if the roads are clear and dry and the temps are high enough for the tires.
